We recently enjoyed a stay at a charming boutique hotel in a vibrant city. The eclectic decor and friendly staff made us feel like we were in a unique and personal space. We loved the fact that our room had a mini-fridge, stellar tea and coffee amenities and luxurious bath products. the hotel was situated in the perfect spot to explore the city on foot and enjoy the local culture.

Sadly, we had a negative experience with the villa reserved for us. We were promised a private parking space, but the lack of proper enforcement by the hotel allowed other guests to park there instead.

Great central location for exploring the city on a weekend break, with many restaurants and bars close by. Hotel room was clean and stylish, with beautiful artwork on the walls. The toiletries provided were of luxury quality.

There was no breakfast included in the room rate and the price was a bit high. The spa jets in the bath didn't work, and we couldn't use the Netflix account as we think the previous guest changed the login details.

Superb meal, excellent staff, lovely surprise with complimentary port and sherry, beautiful decor, comfortable bed, amazing outside restaurant.

Nice Hotel offers experiences like no other, including behind-the-scenes tours of the city's art institutions. We had a blast exploring the hidden gems and learning about the vibrant art scene in New Plymouth. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and made sure our private art tour was tailored to suit the interests of our entire family. It was a truly enriching experience that we'll never forget.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

Staying at this hotel was an unforgettable luxurious experience. The exclusive indoor pool, spa, and sauna facilities kept me relaxed and pampered throughout my stay. The impeccable service of the staff made me feel like a VIP, and the private balcony provided stunning views of the city. The restaurant served delicious food, and the in-room breakfast was a perfect way to start each day. Location-wise, it was ideal, with everything I needed just a few steps away.

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the soundproofing of the room. I could hear the noises from the hallway, which slightly disrupted my peace and quiet.

The petite library was a cozy spot to unwind, and it was conveniently located in the center of town. The complimentary sherry and port were a nice touch, along with the convenient smart TVs in the rooms. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit, and we enjoyed the lovely spa bath.

The breakfast was not worth the price, and the dining area was uncomfortably cold.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, including the hotel facilities, complimentary petit library, and unused dining area. The location was perfect for us, as it was close to the town centre and easy to get around. The staff provided exceptional service from check-in to check-out, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.
